K–12 SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY
Real kids. Every age. No cheese required.
From the kindergartener who cannot wait to show me their missing tooth, to the teenager who would like this to be over as quickly as possible — I've got all of them. Minimal backdrop. Maximum personality.
⏰ 1–2 minutes per student.
Fast and efficient, organized by class. Kids are back in their seats before they even know what happened — and the images look nothing like a rushed session.
🔁 Year-over-year relationship
Coming back year after year means I'm a familiar face, not just a stranger with a camera. The kids relax, the staff knows my rhythm, and those little ongoing relationships make the whole process genuinely fun. It shows in the photos.
📷 Private galleries, easy ordering
Every family receives their own secure online gallery. I handle all orders and questions so there is nothing for teachers or staff to manage after the day is done.
❤️ Personality portraits
The final product isn't just something parents hang on the wall — it's something kids can actually feel proud of. My whole goal is making sure every kid walks away feeling confident and seen, and that shows in every shot.
Every grade, every Stage
I meet them where they are.
The approach changes with the age. The goal never does: I'm looking for the real thing
— not a performance of it.
Kindergarten & Early Elementary
The squeaky nose phase
Little ones need silliness and trust in equal measure. I have a squeaky nose, a repertoire of ridiculous sounds, and absolutely zero dignity when it comes to earning a real laugh from a five-year-old. It works every single time. Ask any kindergartener who has met me.
The Middle Years
Speaking the language
I have learned enough middle school lingo to hold my own — and I will never, ever tire of making a complete fool of myself using it, if it means getting an actual tween to laugh. And yes, I know: this is no small achievement. I celebrate every single one.
High School
Chill. Respectful. Real.
Older teens get the most respect and the least pressure. I turn on some good tunes and talk to them like friends — with that warm, no-nonsense energy — and I make it clear that they are always in control of how this goes. Got ideas of your own? Awesome. I’m here for it.
My Philosophy
Every kid is completely, wonderfully singular — and the greatest compliment I can receive is a parent looking at their child's portrait and saying that's exactly them. Not a tidied-up version. Not a performance. Just their kid, with all of their personality shining through exactly the way it does at home, in the car, at the dinner table.
So if your kid shows up in a hoodie, arms crossed, wearing the expression of someone who would rather be literally anywhere else — perfect. I love that kid. I want that photo. The quirks, the attitude, the goofy thing they always do with their face — that's not something to smooth over. That's the whole point.
*on request* Sibling Photos
Got a family with kids in different grades at the same school? I offer sibling sessions right on picture day — individual portraits plus that group shot that actually captures all of them at once. I've photographed families with two, three, and four kids. It's beautifully chaotic. These are always the images parents talk about most.
I Coordinate these with the school ahead of time so we can arrange timing that works for everyone.
LET'S WORK TOGETHER
Ready to make photo day actually good?
Whether you're a principal, a PTA coordinator, or a parent who's had enough of the same tired school portrait — I'd love to talk about what picture day could look like for your school.
